My Story
I have been visual merchandising and styling even before I knew there was a name or career path for it! My first job was in a small, local fashion boutique here in Port Macquarie where the owners gave me creative license to do all of the shop displays and visual merchandising, and it was from here I found a real love for it.
My passion led me to Sydney where I worked and merchandised for Cue Clothing Company, My House, and a number of fashion and surfwear stores.
After moving back to Port Macquarie I started my own marketing and events company where I continued my love of styling and merchandising through my events, wedding expos, bridal fairs, blog, and wedding magazine.
I also worked creating content and styling and merchandising for North Coast Weddings Magazine, Port Macquarie Focus Magazine, Hastings Council, The Hastings Co-op Department Store, and most recently Port Central and Kempsey Central Shopping Centres.
The Product Styling Co. is now my focus with a vision to work with those businesses who want to take their products, brand or business to the next level.
My Approach
All of my services begin with a one-on-one creative consult so I can determine what you and your product/brand need to flourish. Together we will strategise and brainstorm the vision and ideas for the styling, shoot, or visual merchandising for your product. After the consult, I will provide you with a concept design to help you visualise the styling ideas and creative direction we discussed, along with a quote.
Once you are happy to proceed, we start planning all your shoot styling. Inspiration Boards are designed for you to approve and then the production phase begins. We make a start on all the behind-the-scenes preparation by collating and curating props, wardrobe, and anything else required. On shoot day, we style your photos, create vignettes, keep the shoot on schedule with our detailed run sheets, and assist you with any last-minute decisions.
